iStorage microSD Card 1TB 1-Pack

This microSD card provides one terabyte of removable storage for the iStorage datAshur SD encrypted USB Type-C flash drive. It is intended for users who need hardware-encrypted, portable data capacity and want to swap cards without replacing the drive itself.

Installation and common issues

Insert the card into the datAshur SD microSD slot and enter an 8-64 digit PIN on the drive to authenticate and unlock the volume. The card only functions with datAshur SD drives; it will not work in standard readers, cameras or phones and cannot be used without the paired hardware.

Encryption and capacity limits

All data on the card is protected by FIPS PUB 197 validated AES-XTS 256-bit full-disk encryption managed by the drive. Available capacities range from 32GB to 1TB, so users requiring more than one terabyte on a single card must use multiple cards with the same drive.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the card is encrypting data correctly after inserting it into the datAshur SD drive?

Enter your 8-64 digit PIN on the datAshur SD drive; once authenticated, the card functions as a normal flash drive with full disk encryption using FIPS PUB 197 validated AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption.

What comes in the package and what must I purchase separately to use this card?

The package contains the 1TB microSD card only; the iStorage datAshur SD encrypted USB Type-C flash drive with integrated microSD slot is sold separately and required for encryption.

Which capacity should I choose if I want the largest single card that works with one datAshur SD drive?

The 1TB option is the highest capacity available in the 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1000 range, allowing maximum storage per card while using a single datAshur SD drive.
