Car Charger for Panasonic Toughbooks

This 16 V, 80 W auto adapter powers and charges compatible Panasonic laptops from a vehicle's 12–24 V outlet. It replaces original 60 W, 65 W, 72 W and 80 W units for models such as the CF-S9, CF-S10, FZ-A2, FZ-E1, FZ-G1, FZ-M1 series, FZ-Q2 and FZ-X1. The unit is new and intended for mobile professionals who need reliable in-vehicle power.

Sustained Output and Protection

The adapter delivers a continuous 16 V at up to 5 A with a maximum of 80 W, matching the highest factory rating it replaces. Built-in short-circuit and over-temperature protection guards the laptop and the charger during extended journeys. A smart LED indicator shows power status while the unit draws less idle current.

Right-Angle Connector and Compact Build

A 90-degree DC plug reduces stress on the laptop's power jack and the adapter tip, improving durability in tight vehicle cabins. The housing measures 4.33 by 1.69 by 1.18 inches and weighs 9.7 oz, while the long cord lets the brick sit on the floor or seat without pulling. It is a replacement part, not an original Panasonic accessory.

Questions about this item

How hot or noisy does the 80 W adapter get when it runs all day in a vehicle?

The unit has short-circuit and over-temperature protection plus smart LED power indicators, and it consumes less power during operation.

What must my vehicle already provide for this 16 V 5 A charger to work?

A 12–24 V DC cigarette-lighter socket is required; the adapter plugs directly into that outlet.

Will the right-angle DC tip fit the Panasonic CF-S10 I already own?

Yes, the adapter replaces 60 W, 65 W, 72 W and 80 W Panasonic units and the 90-degree elbow reduces stress on the power jack.
