Compatible MSI Laptop Models

This AC adapter fits MSI Stealth 15M A11UEK series laptops including sub-models A11UEK-009, A11UEK-010, A11UEK-021, A11UEK-207, A11UEK-220, A11UEK-279 and A11UEK-280. It also covers Stealth 15M A11UEKV variants and Sword 15 A11UC models. It is intended for owners of these specific machines needing a replacement charger.

Plug Tip Diameter and Center Pin

The adapter uses a 4.5 mm diameter plug tip with a center pin inside. This physical connector detail is the single specification that decides whether the unit will mate with the laptop power jack. Buyers whose MSI model requires a different tip size or pin arrangement cannot use this adapter.

Installation and Common Issues

Connection is straightforward: plug the AC cord into mains power and the DC connector into the laptop. The 6 ft AC cord and 6 ft DC cord provide generous reach. The adapter replaces 120W and 150W MSI chargers but does not replace 180W, 230W or 240W units; using it on a laptop that demands higher wattage will result in insufficient power or no charging.

Questions about this item

How does the 150 W rating translate when the adapter is powering the laptop?

The unit delivers up to 150 W at 20 V and 7.5 A, or 19.5 V and 7.7 A, or 19 V, matching the laptop's peak load so the battery charges while you work.

What does the 4.5 mm centre-pin connector limit in practice?

The 4.5 mm plug with a centre pin fits the MSI Stealth 15M and Sword 15 models listed and cannot be used on laptops that require a different barrel size or pin layout.

What clearance does the 6 ft DC cable plus the brick need behind the desk?

The adapter ships with a 6 ft DC cord and a 6 ft AC cord, so the brick can sit on the floor while the tip reaches the laptop without strain.
