180W adapter for MSI WE63 WE65 WE73

This 180W AC adapter supplies 19.5V at 9.23A to compatible MSI WE63, WE65 and WE73 laptops. It replaces original 120W, 135W, 150W and 180W units. Buyers who need a 230W power supply cannot use this model. The 7.4mm barrel plug includes a centre pin for a secure connection.

Plug tip limits and cable reach

The 7.4mm diameter tip with centre pin fits only sockets designed for that exact size; other MSI models use different connectors. A 90-degree right-angle DC plug reduces strain on the laptop jack. Two 6ft cords — one AC, one DC — give a combined reach without extra extension leads.

Output power decides compatibility

The single figure that determines fit is the 180W maximum output. Systems that draw more than 180W or ship with a 230W brick will not run reliably on this adapter. Match the wattage on your original charger before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 180 W model or a higher-wattage adapter for my WE73?

The 180 W unit replaces the original 120 W, 135 W, 150 W and 180 W adapters; it does not replace the 230 W model, so choose it only if your laptop shipped with 180 W or less.

What does the 19.5 V 9.23 A rating deliver in daily use?

It supplies the full 180 W the WE63, WE65 and WE73 series expect, powering the system and charging the battery simultaneously whether the laptop is on or off.

Will the 7.4 mm centre-pin tip fit the charging port on a WE65 9TI-007?

Yes — the adapter is built with a 7.4 mm diameter plug that includes the centre pin required by the listed WE63, WE65 and WE73 models.
