A protective case for AirPods 3 with drop protection up to 10 feet and a slim frosted finish

  • Product typeCase
  • Drop protection up to 10 feet tested
  • Hexotek shock absorption safeguards AirPods
  • Slim low-profile design adds minimal bulk
  • Raised edge shields charging port area
  • Frosted finish gives secure grip

What this case fits

The case is built for the third-generation AirPods released in 2021. It slips over the charging case and stays in place during daily carry. Buyers with first- or second-generation AirPods will find it does not fit.

Protection level and limits

Premium drop protection is rated to 10 feet using Hexotek shock-absorption material. The raised edge guards the lid and hinge from direct impact. Extreme crush forces or sustained pressure beyond the rated drop height can still damage the case.

Upgrade context and trade-offs

The frosted finish adds grip without the bulk of rugged shells. It replaces basic silicone skins that tear or stretch over time. Users who want a built-in carabiner loop or a kickstand will need a different design.

Questions about this item

Will the Spectrum Solid case fit the AirPods 3 charging case I bought in 2021?

Yes, the case is designed for the 3rd Generation AirPods released in 2021 and provides a fitted enclosure for that specific model.

How can I confirm the Hexotek shock absorption is protecting my AirPods after I install the case?

The case wraps the charging case with a raised edge around the hinge and lid; if the edges sit flush and the lid snaps shut without gaps, the protection layer is seated correctly.

Does the Grey Spectrum Solid package include a carabiner or lanyard, or just the case itself?

The supplier title states CASE ONLY, so the box contains the protective cover alone; any carabiner, strap or cleaning cloth must be purchased separately.
