Active DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 Converter

The ivanky VBJ24 converts a DisplayPort 1.4 source signal to an HDMI 2.1 display input. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz with 32 Gbps bandwidth for desktop PCs, laptops and GPUs from AMD or NVIDIA. The unidirectional adapter is designed for office work, gaming and home theatre playback. It requires no driver installation for immediate use.

Bandwidth and Standard Limits

The adapter delivers 32 Gbps bandwidth to handle 7680×4320 resolution at 60 Hz. It is compatible with DP 1.4 and 1.2 sources and HDMI 2.1 and 2.0 displays while supporting HDCP content protection. The converter does not work with Mini DisplayPort or USB ports and cannot pass a signal from an HDMI source to a DisplayPort display.

Source and Display Checks

Verify the source device provides a full-size DisplayPort 1.4 or 1.2 output rather than Mini DisplayPort or USB-C. Confirm the display accepts an HDMI 2.1 or 2.0 input for the desired resolution and refresh rate. The 20 cm cable length suits close connections but may not reach distant monitors without an extension.
