Versatile Two-Piece Spatula Set

This Iwatani Spatula-2Pcs set includes one solid and one slotted turner made from BPA-free, food-grade silicone. The reinforced nylon core adds rigidity while the flexible heads allow precise control for flipping, stirring and sautéing. A comfortable silicone handle and integrated hanging holes provide convenient storage options.

Cooks Prioritising Non-Stick Safety

The silicone construction protects non-stick coatings from scratches and withstands temperatures up to 500°F. Buyers who need dishwasher-safe cleaning should note the manufacturer specifies hand wash only. Those requiring specialised tools such as fish turners or offset spatulas will need separate purchases.

Consistent High-Heat Performance

The silicone heads remain stable during prolonged exposure to 500°F without melting, warping or transferring odours. The nylon core prevents the head from bending excessively under the weight of heavy foods during extended cooking sessions. Heat resistance is maintained across repeated use without degradation.

Questions about this item

Will the 500 °F heat rating protect the spatulas when I use them in my cast-iron skillet?

Yes, the food-grade silicone is rated to 500 °F, so it will not melt or degrade in a hot cast-iron pan.

Can I clean the bamboo handles in the dishwasher after cooking?

The supplier marks the set as not dishwasher safe; hand-wash the bamboo handles to avoid cracking.

How do I confirm the slotted turner drains oil properly during cooking?

When frying, lift food with the slotted head — oil should flow through the slots back into the pan instantly.
