A built-in IC chip translates the digital HDMI signal to an analog VGA signal for monitors, projectors or HDTVs that lack HDMI inputs. The adapters are unidirectional and do not carry audio.

One-way digital-to-analog step up to 1080p 60Hz

Each unit supports resolutions up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz, plus 1600x1200, 1280x1024 and 720p. The gold-plated HDMI connector resists corrosion and aims to preserve signal quality. This is not a bi-directional device; it cannot send a VGA source to an HDMI display.

Check that your source has a standard HDMI port
