High-strength red threadlocker for permanent

J-B Weld Perma-Lock red threadlocker is a high-strength liquid adhesive supplied in a 36mL bottle. It is designed for fasteners from 1/4 inch to 1 inch where permanent locking is required. The product creates a bond that resists vibration and shock in automotive and industrial assemblies.

Verify fastener size and disassembly needs before

Confirm that the fastener diameter falls within the 1/4 inch to 1 inch range stated for this product. Ensure the application can accept a permanent bond because disassembly requires heat and hand tools. The liquid form suits through-holes and blind holes alike.

Full cure in 24 hours

The adhesive begins to harden and reaches full cure after 24 hours at room temperature. It operates across a temperature range of 0 degrees to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Once cured it withstands high vibration without loosening.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 36 mL bottle and is anything else needed to apply it?

The bottle contains red high-strength liquid threadlocker; no extra tools are required for application.

When should I choose the red Perma-Lock version instead of another strength or colour?

Choose red for permanent locking on fasteners from 1/4 in. to 1 in. that must not loosen under vibration.

What does the 300 °F temperature rating mean once the threadlocker is cured on the bolt?

The cured bond maintains full strength up to 300 °F, so it survives engine and exhaust heat cycles.
