What this flood light does

The J&H LED 150W flood light produces 18000 lumens of 5000K cool white light, replacing a 1050W incandescent equivalent. It is built for outdoor security and area lighting where a wide, adjustable beam is required. The die-cast aluminum housing carries an IP65 rating for dust and low-pressure water jet protection. UL listing covers wet-location safety.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm the supply voltage at the mounting point falls between 120V and 277V. The fixture measures 12.87 inches in length, 9.09 inches in height and 1.57 inches in width, so ensure the wall or eave surface can accommodate those dimensions. Wiring must be suitable for wet locations and local codes may require a junction box rated for the environment.

Behaviour during extended operation

The LED array is rated for 50000 hours of lamp life under continuous use. Built-in surge protection up to 2KV shields the driver from voltage spikes that occur on long outdoor runs. The aluminum housing acts as a heatsink, maintaining stable output without active cooling. IP65 sealing prevents moisture ingress that could degrade performance over time.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware is included with the J&H LED 150W flood light and do I need to buy a junction box separately?

The fixture includes hardware for wall or eave mounting to a standard junction box; the box itself is not supplied and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 120 V or 277 V wiring option for my home circuit?

The unit operates on any supply from 120 V to 277 V automatically, so no separate version selection is required.

How much area will 18000 lumens at 5000K actually illuminate on my driveway?

At 18000 lumens the light replaces a 1050 W incandescent and provides broad daylight-quality coverage suitable for large driveways or commercial yards.
