The JTECH-MV41A is a 4x1 HDMI multi-viewer and seamless switcher built for residential and commercial installs. It accepts four HDMI sources and routes them to one display at up to 4K 60Hz. Audio can be extracted to optical or RCA outputs while RS-232 and IR extension provide system integration options.

Limits of the HDMI 4K 60Hz path

The single output is locked to 4K at 60Hz, so higher refresh rates or greater colour depths are not supported. Only four inputs are available; a fifth source cannot be added without another device. Audio extraction works only from the currently selected active input, not from all four simultaneously. RS-232 control uses a fixed 232 baud rate that must match the controller.

When the multi-view upgrade makes sense

This unit replaces a basic 4x1 switch when you need to see several sources at once — PiP, PBP, quad or other composite layouts across eight display modes. It also replaces separate audio extractors and matrix controllers by combining extraction, aspect-ratio correction and OSD control in one box.
