Switching 8K60 4K120 1080P240

The J-Tech Digital JTECH-8KSW21AE is a 2x1 HDMI switch that routes two sources to one display at up to 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz or 1080P@240Hz. It supports HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for high dynamic range content. HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3 compliance ensures compatibility with current consoles, streamers and media players.

Audio extraction optical 3.5mm

Bundled audio extraction sends the HDMI soundtrack to both an optical output and a 3.5mm stereo jack for soundbars, AV receivers or powered speakers. Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital and uncompressed LPCM pass through for multichannel or stereo playback. CEC support lets connected devices share basic control commands.

EDID 15 modes console streamer PC

Fifteen EDID presets and a bypass mode adapt resolution and audio formats to TVs, projectors or monitors without manual timing tweaks. The switch handles two sources such as a PS5, Xbox Series X, Apple TV, Roku, Fire Stick, Blu-ray player or PC. It does not suit setups that need more than two inputs or automatic switching based on signal detection.

Questions about this item

Will the optical or 3.5mm audio extraction ports need replacement after long-term use?

The optical and 3.5mm audio extraction ports are passive connectors with no moving parts, so they do not require scheduled replacement under normal operation.

Which bandwidth limit is reached first when running 8K60 4:4:4 continuously?

The HDMI 2.1 interface caps sustained throughput at the 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 specification, which is the first hard limit under continuous maximum-resolution use.

Does the unit generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

The switch has no internal fan and draws minimal power, so it runs silently with only slight warmth during extended use.
