Bag sealing tape for dispensers

JVCC BST-24 is a UPVC film coated with a solvent-based natural rubber adhesive. It is designed to seal polyethylene and other film bags swiftly when used with a bag sealing dispenser. The red tape also serves to color code the age of perishables.

Printable surface for labeling

The tape is printable, allowing date or batch information to be added directly. Typical bags that can be sealed include produce bags, bakery products, candy items, floral arrangements, industrial parts, newspapers, and hardware.

Requires bag sealing dispenser

This tape works only with a compatible bag sealing dispenser, which is not included. It frees operators from manual twist ties or heat sealing for high volume packing lines. Not suited for buyers who need a self adhesive roll for hand application.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 3/8 in wide roll into a bag sealing dispenser without the tape jamming?

Thread the red UPVC tape through the dispenser guides so the adhesive side contacts the bag neck; the common mistake is feeding it backwards, which causes the 2.4 mil film to curl and jam.

When will the solvent-based natural rubber adhesive lose its grip on polyethylene bags?

The adhesive remains effective until the roll is used up; replace the 180 yd roll when the tape runs out or if contamination from dust and oils prevents a clean seal.

At what point does the 2.4 mil UPVC film stretch or tear during continuous sealing?

The film will stretch or tear first if the dispenser tension is set too high or if bag necks are thicker than the tape width, causing the 3/8 in tape to exceed its elongation limit.
