Jackson Spectra Bass SBXQ IV for Gigging Bassists

The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBXQ IV is an electric bass guitar built for gigging musicians who need balanced comfort during long sets. Its offset poplar body with a quilt maple top and enlarged upper horn distributes weight evenly for optimal playing balance. A graphite-reinforced through-body maple neck with scarf joint adds structural stability and sustain for stage reliability.

24-Fret Compound Radius Laurel Fingerboard

The bound laurel fingerboard features a 12-16 compound radius across 24 frets, paired with a speed neck profile for fast, smooth transitions in any register. Medium-output dual humbucking pickups deliver punchy lows and crisp highs, covering a full sonic spectrum suited to versatile styles. The active/passive push-pull volume, blend knob, and three-band EQ provide extensive tone shaping without needing external preamps.

Black Hardware and Amber Blue Burst Finish

Black hardware complements the Amber Blue Burst gloss finish for a modern, aggressive aesthetic that stands out on stage. The neck-through-body construction with graphite reinforcement ensures consistent sustain and tuning stability through heavy use. Passive pickup design means no battery dependency, while the push-pull volume switch lets you engage active EQ only when the venue demands it.
