Low-Profile Windshield Mount

This JacobsParts suction-cup mount secures compatible TomTom One, XL, XXL and Pro GPS units to the windshield. The low-profile twist mechanism keeps the assembly close to the glass for a compact fit. A ball joint provides flexible angle adjustment for clear driver visibility. The package includes the mount and a separate mounting bracket.

Installation and Common Issues

Press the base against the windshield and twist the locking ring to engage the suction cup; no tools are required. Clean the glass thoroughly beforehand to ensure a firm seal. The ball joint can be tightened if the GPS drifts from vibration. Extreme heat or cold may reduce suction grip over time.

Compatibility and Limits

The mount supports TomTom One models 125, 130, 140 and 22; XL models 325, 330, 335, 340 and 350; XXL models 530, 535, 540 and 550; and Pro 4000 and 8000 units. It is not suited for GPS devices outside this list or for dashboard mounting without an additional adhesive disc. Heavier portable navigators may exceed the suction capacity.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the suction cup is holding the TomTom One 130 securely on the windshield?

Twist the ring until the mount feels firm, then nudge the bracket — it should not shift or wobble.

Does the package include a bracket for the TomTom XL 340 or only the suction base?

The box contains one GPS mount and one mounting bracket — both parts needed for the XL 340 are included.

Which version fits a TomTom Pro 8000 versus a TomTom One 22?

The TOM-V4 mount fits every listed model, including the Pro 8000 and the One 22 — choose by your device, not by a version number.
