SDI to HDMI Converter with Loop Out

This Jansicotek converter transforms SDI signals into HDMI for display on compatible monitors or projectors. It accepts 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI inputs with automatic format detection. A single SDI loop output passes the original signal to an additional SDI display. The unit is intended for broadcast, surveillance or production workflows that need simultaneous SDI and HDMI viewing.

Upgrade from Direct SDI Monitoring

The device replaces a standalone SDI monitor by adding an HDMI output while preserving the SDI feed through the loop out. The jump is worth it when you need to view the same source on both an SDI screen and an HDMI screen without splitting the cable upstream. It does not serve users who require HDMI to SDI conversion or bidirectional signal translation.

Limits of the SDI Interface

SDI input supports 480i, 567i, 720P at 30, 50 or 60 Hz, 1080i at 50 or 60 Hz and 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 Hz. HDMI output is limited to 720P at 50 or 60 Hz and 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 Hz. Cable reach extends to 300 ft for 3G-SDI, 500 ft for HD-SDI and 1000 ft for SD-SDI. Cascading multiple converters of the same type is not recommended.
