The Jansicotek USB 2.0 KVM switch lets two computers share up to four USB peripherals such as a printer, scanner, mouse, keyboard or flash drive. It removes the need to swap cables or configure network sharing software. The unit is suited to small offices or home desks with multiple PCs or Macs. A single button press toggles the active computer.

Plug-and-play with optional power

Installation requires no driver installation on Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux or Chrome OS. The switch draws power from the USB bus but includes a micro-USB port for an optional standard 5 V adapter when connecting power-hungry devices such as external hard drives or SSDs. Using any charger with a higher voltage output is not allowed and may affect performance.

USB 2.0 bandwidth ceiling

All four ports operate at USB 2.0 speeds, so the total throughput is shared across the active devices.
