The Jansicotek adapter converts composite CVBS signals from legacy devices such as a PS3 or DVD player into HDMI for modern televisions or monitors. It accepts PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N formats through yellow, white and red RCA inputs. The built-in analog-to-digital engine samples at 162 MSPS with 10-bit depth to produce 1080p or 720p output at 60 Hz. Buyers who need to convert component, S-Video or digital sources cannot use this unit.
