Shares four USB 2.0 peripherals between two computers with one-button switching and no drivers required
This USB 2.0 switch lets two computers share four peripheral devices. It connects mice, keyboards, printers, scanners or flash drives without cable swapping. The unit is bus-powered and works instantly with no driver installation. A front button with LED indicators selects the active system.
Suits home or office users switching a keyboard, mouse and printer between a PC and a Mac. Linux and Chrome OS are also supported. Buyers who need to share a monitor or other video output should look at a dedicated video KVM. Users with high-draw devices must add a standard 5 V adapter, which is not included.
The switch provides four downstream USB 2.0 Type-A ports for connecting peripherals. Two upstream cables link the host computers. A micro-USB port accepts optional 5 V power for demanding devices. All switching is handled by a single mechanical button on the enclosure.
