A 100 ft optical fibre DisplayPort 1.4 cable carrying 32.4 Gbps for 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz with directional source and display connectors
Cable Length 100 Feet
This 100 ft optical DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz over long distances. It uses four fibre cores to transmit TMDS signals without high-frequency interference. The link is rated for 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and supports 3D visual effects.
Fibre construction allows stable transmission up to the full 100 ft length where copper cables would degrade. The cable is unidirectional: the Source end must connect to the GPU or laptop and the Display end to the monitor or projector. Reversing the ends will result in no picture. Both source and display must natively support the target resolution and refresh rate.
Plug the labelled Source connector into the computer and the Display connector into the screen; the cable is plug-and-play once oriented correctly. No external power adapter is required. The only common issue is reversed ends, which causes a blank screen until corrected. Buyers who need a bidirectional or shorter copper cable should consider a different product.

Other versions of this model
Choose this 100 ft optical fibre cable when the source and display are far apart; copper DisplayPort cables cannot reliably carry 32.4 Gbps over that distance.
The cable supports 32.4 Gbps and 8K at 60 Hz, but your graphics card and monitor must also support that resolution and refresh rate for it to work.
HBR3 provides 32.4 Gbps, enabling 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz, provided both the source device and the display support those modes.
