This DisplayPort 1.4 fiber optic cable spans 100 ft and carries video and audio between a PC or laptop and a monitor, projector or HDTV. It uses a hybrid construction of pure glass fiber and oxygen-free copper with triple shielding to reduce interference. The 24K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and lock securely. It is rated for in-wall installation.

Capacity and headroom

The link supports up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth (HBR3 at 8.1 Gbps per lane) and handles 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 240 Hz, and 3440 × 1440 at 60 Hz. It is backward compatible with 2K and 1080P resolutions. Deep colour at 10-bit is supported. Runs exceeding copper limits or very high refresh rates beyond the stated modes are not supported.

Thermals noise and power draw
