Essager HCL100W 100W USB-C Cable

The Essager HCL100W is a 6.6ft USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 100W power delivery at 20V/5A. It includes an LED display that shows real-time wattage and a right-angle connector for comfortable use while charging. The two-pack suits owners of USB-C laptops, tablets, phones and handhelds such as MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Galaxy S-series, Steam Deck and Switch who want fast charging and a visible power readout.

Right-angle plug with E-mark chip

The 90-degree elbow keeps the cable out of the way during gaming or video playback, and the built-in E-marker chip negotiates current automatically for stable 100W charging. No driver or software installation is required; simply connect to a PD 100W charger and a compatible device. The only common issue is expecting USB 3.x or video throughput — this cable is limited to USB 2.0 at 480Mbps, so it will not carry 4k video or hit 5Gbps or 10Gbps speeds.

Braided 250d fiber core under sustained load

Aluminum housings, nylon braiding and a 250d fiber core survive over 10000 ninety-degree bends, so the cable resists fraying during daily wrap-unwrap cycles. Under continuous 100W delivery the E-marker chip maintains 80% charging efficiency and 90% stability, keeping heat lower than 60W cables. In practical use it can charge a MacBook Pro to 86%, an iPad Pro to 89%, a Samsung S20 to 96% or a Switch to 90% in about 35 minutes, and transfers a 1GB file in roughly 30 seconds.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cable is delivering the full 100W during charging?

The built-in LED display shows the real-time wattage being used, so you can verify the power draw reaches up to 100W 20V/5A when paired with a compatible PD charger.

What comes in the package and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The 2-pack includes two 6.6ft USB-C to USB-C right-angle cables with E-marker chips and nylon braiding; a PD 100W charger is not included and must be purchased separately to achieve the maximum output.

Which version should I choose if I only need USB 2.0 data speeds but want 100W charging?

This Essager HCL100W model provides 100W power delivery with USB 2.0 at 480Mbps data transfer, making it the correct choice when high-speed charging is the priority over USB 3.0 or 4K video support.
