Extracts TV audio via ARC to optical, coaxial and 3.5 mm outputs simultaneously at 192 KHz with 5.1 channel support
This converter extracts audio from a TV's HDMI ARC port and sends it simultaneously to optical, coaxial and 3.5mm outputs. It is designed for owners of televisions that lack dedicated audio outputs but do support ARC. The unit requires a TV with an ARC-labelled HDMI socket; without that port the adapter cannot function.
The device supports audio sampling up to 192 KHz and includes a high-performance amplifier with switchable noise reduction and automatic signal mute. Optical and coaxial interfaces carry 5.1 channel audio while the 3.5mm jack provides stereo output. Power is drawn from an included Type-C cable so no separate mains adapter is needed.
ARC and headphone output levels can be adjusted directly through the TV remote using CEC commands, removing the need for an extra remote. The package supplies a Type-C power cable and a user manual; no HDMI or optical cables are included, so buyers must provide their own interconnects.

Connect the TV's HDMI ARC port to the converter's HDMI input, then attach optical, coaxial or 3.5mm cables to your sound system; the step often missed is enabling HDMI-CEC and ARC audio output in the TV settings so the converter receives a signal.
The unit has no user-serviceable parts; only the external Type-C power cable or HDMI and audio cables may wear and need replacement.
The converter supports up to 192 kHz sampling and 5.1 channel output on optical and coaxial; sustained use at that rate is its design ceiling.
