Connects an HDMI source to a VGA display up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz with micro-USB power for low-output devices
The Jansicotek adapter converts a digital HDMI signal to an analog VGA signal using a built-in active IC chip. It connects computers, laptops, Raspberry Pi units or media players to monitors, projectors or HDTVs with a VGA input. A 10 ft cable length provides flexible placement between source and display. The gold-plated HDMI connector resists corrosion and improves signal performance.
The male HDMI end plugs directly into the source device while the female VGA port accepts a standard VGA cable from the display. A short 4-inch cable tail relieves strain on the HDMI port. An attached Micro USB cable supplies extra power for low-power HDMI ports found on some laptops, Apple and Sony devices. No software drivers are required for installation.
The converter supports resolutions up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz, including 720p and 1600x1200 for compatible monitors or projectors. It does not carry audio signals and cannot pass HDCP-protected content such as Blu-ray discs or PlayStation 3 and 4 output. Buyers needing audio output or HDCP compliance for protected media should consider a different solution.

It has no fan and draws little power, so it runs silently and stays cool.
