Converts HDMI to VGA with 3.5 mm audio output, supporting up to 1080p resolution for monitors and projectors
This Jansicotek converter lets you link any HDMI-equipped computer, laptop, TV box, Raspberry Pi, Roku or Xbox to a monitor, projector or HDTV that only has a VGA input. The male HDMI plug connects directly to the source while the female VGA port accepts a standard VGA cable. A built-in 3.5 mm audio jack passes sound to external speakers or headphones. The white, ultra-mini housing makes it easy to carry and use anywhere.
The adapter draws power from the HDMI port itself, so it adds no measurable load to your system and requires no external power supply. An advanced active IC chip handles the digital-to-analog conversion without generating noticeable heat, keeping the unit cool to the touch during extended sessions. Because there are no moving parts, operation is completely silent in any environment.
The integrated 3.5 mm port separates the audio stream from the HDMI signal, letting you route sound to a speaker, headphone or amplifier while video goes to the VGA display. Gold plating on the HDMI connector resists corrosion and abrasion, preserving signal quality over repeated insertions. No drivers or software are needed; the device works immediately on any supported platform.

Plug the HDMI male end into your source device, connect a VGA cable from the converter's female port to your display, and plug a 3.5 mm audio cable into the converter's audio port for sound. The step people miss is connecting the separate audio cable because HDMI carries audio but VGA does not.
The gold-plated HDMI connector resists corrosion so no contact cleaning is required. The active IC chip has no moving parts and needs no service. Only the VGA or 3.5 mm cables may wear out and need replacing over time.
The built-in active IC chip converts digital HDMI to analog VGA and supports up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz. Sustained use at this maximum resolution is the first limit; higher resolutions such as 1600x1200 or 4K are not supported.
