Converts HDMI input to YPbPr component video plus stereo audio for 1080p displays
This adapter converts an HDMI source into analogue component video with stereo audio. It is intended for users who need to connect modern HDMI devices to older displays that only accept YPbPr input. The unit requires the supplied 5 V power supply to operate.
Accepted input resolutions are 480p at 60 Hz, 576p at 50 Hz, 720p at 50 or 60 Hz, and 1080i or 1080p at 50 or 60 Hz. The maximum supported resolution is 1920 x 1080; 4K signals are not supported. The converter passes the signal through without scaling, so the source must output one of the listed formats.
The enclosure is made of aluminium, which aids heat dissipation during continuous use. One HDMI input and a 5RCA component output with separate left and right audio channels are provided. The package includes the converter, a 5 V DC power supply, and a user manual for plug-and-play setup.
