The Jansicotek HDMI2SDI converts a single HDMI source into two simultaneous SDI outputs for broadcast monitors or cameras. It handles 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz plus 720p and standard-definition formats without external power. Embedded audio stays in sync with video through the conversion path. Built-in ESD protection guards the circuitry during mobile use.

Studio and Field Workflows

Suits editors, OB crews and AV integrators who need to feed two SDI displays from one HDMI camera, PC or playout device. The 2.97 Gbit/s bit-rate covers 3G-SDI distances up to 100 m, HD-SDI to 200 m and SD-SDI to 300 m. Buyers who require 4K or 6G-SDI throughput should look at a different converter class. Anyone needing HDMI loop-through or genlock input will not find those features here.

1080p 3G-SDI Limit
