HDMI-to-SDI Converter with Dual Output

This compact Jansicotek unit converts a single HDMI source into two simultaneous SDI feeds. It accepts 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080p signals at 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz from cameras, PCs or media players. Embedded audio travels with the video for synchronised output. The converter draws power over USB so no external adapter is required.

Sustained Signal Integrity at 2.97 Gbit/s

The SDI interface runs at 2.970 Gbit/s for 3G-SDI and 1.485 Gbit/s for HD-SDI, maintaining uncompressed video quality during continuous operation. Built-in ESD protection guards the circuitry against electrostatic damage in studio or field environments. LED indicators confirm active links without interrupting the stream. The metal enclosure aids passive cooling during extended sessions.

Transmission Distance Limits by SDI Standard

3G-SDI output reaches 100 metres, HD-SDI extends to 200 metres and SD-SDI covers 300 metres over standard coaxial cable. The converter auto-detects the input format and matches the appropriate SDI output standard. It does not support resolutions above 1080p or HDMI versions beyond 1.3. Buyers needing 4K conversion or longer cable runs without repeaters should look elsewhere.
