A 6.6 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable rated for HBR3 bandwidth up to 32.4 Gbit/s, supporting 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz
This 6.6 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 32.4 Gbit/s HBR3 bandwidth between a GPU and a monitor. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, 2K at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. VESA certification confirms the link meets the DisplayPort 1.4 specification. Triple shielding and solid copper conductors reduce signal loss over the full length.
The cable delivers its rated 32.4 Gbit/s up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz without compression. At 2K 240 Hz and 1080p 240 Hz the bandwidth remains within the HBR3 limit, so adaptive-sync and HDR work normally. Beyond 8K 60 Hz or 4K above 144 Hz the link would exceed the certified bandwidth and is not supported. The 6.6 ft length stays inside the passive-cable envelope for DisplayPort 1.4.
Replaces DisplayPort 1.2 or uncertified cables that cap at 4K 60 Hz or 2K 144 Hz. The jump is worthwhile when moving to a 4K 144 Hz monitor, a 2K 240 Hz panel or an 8K 60 Hz display. It adds HBR3 bandwidth, HDCP 2.2, HDR, DSC and forward error correction that earlier cables cannot carry. Not for buyers who need longer runs than 6.6 ft or who require DisplayPort 2.0 / UHBR speeds.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the cable is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 ports on cards like the GTX 970 and will run at the maximum resolution and refresh rate that the 1.2 interface allows.
Open your GPU control panel or monitor OSD and confirm the active link shows HBR3 or 32.4 Gbit/s at the chosen resolution such as 4K 144 Hz or 2K 240 Hz.
The package contains only the 6.6 ft male-to-male DisplayPort 1.4 cable; no adapters or extra accessories are included.
