The Jansicotek OZ8Q5 connects up to five HDMI 2.1 sources to a single display. It suits owners of current-generation consoles, media players or PCs who need to share one screen. The unit is new and finished in black.

48 Gbps bandwidth with 8K 60 Hz

The switch passes 48 Gbps video bandwidth and handles 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 2K at 144 Hz. HDCP 2.3 compliance and support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and 3D are built in.

Passive operation with remote and button control

No fan or active cooling is present, so the device runs silently. Switching is handled by the included IR remote, the front-panel button or auto-detection when a source powers on. Power draw in normal use is negligible.

Questions about this item

What does 48 Gbps bandwidth mean for my 8K display?

It carries the full 8K 60 Hz signal without compression, so the TV receives every pixel the source sends.

How does HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3 affect what I can watch?

It allows protected 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz streams from consoles and streaming boxes to pass through to the display.

What do I need to mount or power this five-port switch?

The unit is a powered desktop box; it ships with its own power supply and sits on a shelf — no rack ears or wall brackets are included.
