What it is

The Jansicotek OZAB is a bi-directional HDMI switch that lets you connect two sources to one display or one source to two displays. Only one screen can be active at a time. It supports 4K at 60 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz with HDR and multi-channel audio formats. The unit is aimed at anyone who needs to share a single monitor or TV between a console, streaming box and PC without unplugging cables.

Installation notes

The package includes a 4K 60 Hz HDMI cable and a DC 5 V power cable, so no extra accessories are required for a typical setup. Switching is manual via a button on the aluminium chassis; there is no automatic input detection. LED indicators show the active port. For reliable 4K 60 Hz signal quality the total cable length should not exceed 3 metres.

Deciding spec

The critical figure is the 18 Gbps bandwidth rating, which determines whether the switch can pass full 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 colour with HDR. If your source and display need that throughput, this unit meets it; if you require simultaneous dual-display output or automatic switching, it does not.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the switch is passing a 4K 60 Hz signal correctly after connecting my PS5 and monitor?

The front-panel LED for the active port lights up, and your display's on-screen menu should report 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz with HDR.

What cables and accessories are included in the box, and do I need to buy anything else?

The package contains the switch, a 5 V DC power cable, one 4K 60 Hz HDMI cable and a manual; add a second HDMI cable if you want both sources connected at once.

Which version should I choose if I need to toggle between two monitors from a single Xbox Series X?

This single OZAB model works bi-directionally as a 1-in-2-out splitter, letting you switch the Xbox between two displays manually — only one screen shows at a time.
