The Jansicotek OZHW7 is a mechanical Ethernet selector that lets one device alternate between two networks or two devices share a single network connection. It operates purely through a physical button press, providing electrical isolation between the active and inactive ports without software configuration. The unit draws 3.3 V power from an included USB cable and supports Category 5 through Category 8 cabling.

Check Cabling and Power Before Ordering

Verify that your installation uses Cat 5e or higher cable to reach the stated 10000 Mbps ceiling; older Cat 5 runs will fall back to 1000 Mbps. A free USB port or charger capable of delivering 3.3 V is required to power the switch. The selector provides one female RJ45 port on the common side and two female RJ45 ports on the switched side, so confirm your patch leads terminate in standard 8P8C plugs.
