Jansicotek OZJ6 2x2 HDMI Matrix Switch

The Jansicotek OZJ6 is a 2x2 HDMI matrix switch that connects two 4K signal sources to two displays. It extracts audio from the HDMI input to Toslink SPDIF or 3.5mm stereo outputs. The unit includes an IR remote control and a 5V power adaptor. It suits home theatres, offices, classrooms and commercial installations needing flexible source and display routing.

Sustained 4K 60Hz operation with 18.5Gbps bandwidth

The switcher handles 4K@60Hz signals at up to 18.5Gbps and a TMDS clock of 600MHz continuously. It supports deep colour up to 48bit and audio formats including LPCM and DTS 5.1. Automatic resolution scaling reduces a 4K source to 1080P for a lower-resolution display connected to the OUT A port while maintaining 4K on the other output. HDCP 2.2 compliance ensures protected content plays without interruption.

Compact metal enclosure with side-aligned ports

The black chassis measures 5.91 x 2.36 x 0.79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces. All HDMI ports and the power input sit on the same side for tidy cable runs. Two HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs use standard connectors supporting cables up to 10m at AWG26. SPDIF optical and 3.5mm audio outputs sit alongside the HDMI row. Front-panel buttons and the IR sensor provide local and remote switching.

Questions about this item

Does the matrix run hot or draw much power when left on 24/7?

The unit ships with a 5 V power adaptor and has no internal fan, so it runs silently with negligible heat during continuous operation.

What cables and displays must I already have to use both HDMI outputs and the audio extractors?

You need two HDMI source devices, two HDMI displays, and optionally an optical SPDIF or 3.5 mm stereo cable for each extracted audio path.

Will a 1080p monitor on OUT A work alongside a 4K screen on OUT B without manual switching?

Yes, the matrix automatically down-scales the 4K signal to 1080p on OUT A while passing native 4K@60Hz to OUT B simultaneously.
