The Jansicotek OZJ8 routes eight HDMI sources to eight displays in any combination. It suits conference rooms, classrooms and signage installations where multiple 4K signals must be distributed and switched independently.

4K 60 Hz 18 Gbps capacity and cable limits

Each path handles 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with 8, 10, 12 or 24 bit deep colour, 3D and HDR10 at the full 18 Gbps bandwidth. Input cables must stay under 8 metres using AWG26 HDMI 2.0b leads; longer runs exceed the spec and will lose signal.

HDMI 2.0b interface constraints

The switch implements HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.2, RGB 4:4:4 and YUV 4:4:4 sampling at 600 MHz pixel clock. It cannot pass 4K above 60 Hz, 8K or any feature that requires HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. Control is by IR remote, RS-232 or front-panel keys only.
