8x8 HDMI Matrix Switch
The LUOM OZJ8 routes up to eight HDMI 2.0b sources to eight displays simultaneously. It handles 4K 60 Hz signals with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and 18 Gbps bandwidth. Installers and AV integrators use it for multi-room distribution, digital signage or conference-room switching where every output needs an independent source selection.
HDMI 2.0b distance limits
The switch equalises and amplifies signals to extend reliable transmission. At 4K 60 Hz the supplier specifies AWG26 cables under 5 metres; at 1080p the same cable gauge reaches 20 metres. RS-232, IR extension and front-panel keys provide control when the unit sits in a rack out of direct line of sight.
Eight inputs and eight outputs
Each of the eight inputs can be routed to any or all of the eight outputs, supporting 3D, deep colour up to 24 bit and audio formats including LPCM 7.1, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD. The 600 MHz TMDS clock and 18 Gbps ceiling mean 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 is the practical maximum; higher refresh rates or 8K resolutions exceed the available bandwidth.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 8x8 matrix or a smaller switch for my eight sources and eight displays?
The 8x8 matrix routes each of the eight HDMI inputs to any of the eight HDMI outputs independently, so all sources and displays can be active at once.
What does the 18Gbps bandwidth mean when I connect 4K 60Hz sources?
18Gbps carries full 4K 3840x2160 60Hz 4:4:4 RGB or YUV without compression, so HDR10 and deep colour up to 12-bit pass through unchanged.
How far can I run cables on the HDMI 2.0b ports at 4K resolution?
The spec lists less than 5 metres with AWG26 cable for 4K, and less than 20 metres for 1080p signals.
