2×4 HDMI Switch with Audio Extraction
The Jansicotek OZQ12 routes two HDMI sources to four displays at once. It suits home-theatre, conference-room and digital-signage installations where multiple screens must show the same 4K content. An IR remote and a front-panel button let you select the active input in about three seconds. Audio is de-embedded to both 3.5 mm analogue and optical SPDIF outputs for external sound systems.
HDMI 2.0b bandwidth and cable limits
The switch handles 18.5 Gbps and a TMDS clock up to 600 MHz, supporting 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and HDR. Deep-colour modes up to 48 bit are passed through. HDCP 2.2 is enforced on protected content. With standard HDMI 2.0b cables the 4K HDR signal reaches 10 metres; 1080p extends to 20 metres. Longer runs or higher data rates are not supported by this unit.
Desktop installation and common issues
The unit measures 5.91 by 2.36 by 0.79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces, so it sits on a shelf or rack without mounting hardware. A 5 V power adapter is included and must be connected for reliable switching. Problems usually arise when cables exceed the stated lengths or when non-2.0b leads are used, causing signal drop-out or loss of HDR. The IR remote requires direct line of sight to the front sensor.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 2×4 or a different matrix for two sources and four displays?
This model is a fixed 2×4 matrix: it routes two HDMI sources to four displays simultaneously and lets you switch between the two inputs with the IR remote or front button.
What does the 18.5 Gbps bandwidth mean when I connect 4K@60 Hz sources?
The 18.5 Gbps bandwidth carries full 4K@60 Hz 4:4:4 video with HDR and deep colour up to 48 bit, so each of the four outputs receives an uncompressed 3840×2160@60 Hz signal.
Does the HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 interface limit cable length or audio formats?
HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.2 supports 4K@60 Hz up to 10 m and 1080p up to 20 m; audio is extracted to both 3.5 mm stereo and optical SPDIF for external sound systems.
