The Jansicotek OZQ4 routes four HDMI 2.0 inputs to one HDMI 2.0 output at up to 4K@60Hz. It is aimed at owners of TVs, monitors or projectors with a single HDMI port who need to connect multiple consoles, streamers or players. An IR remote and a front button both select the active source. The unit also extracts audio through optical Toslink and 3.5 mm stereo jacks.

Capacity and headroom

The switch passes 4K@60Hz, 1080p 3D, 1080P, 720P, 576P and 480P signals within an 18.5 Gbps bandwidth envelope. It supports HDCP 2.2 and 12-bit deep colour in YUV 4:2:0 format. ARC works through the optical port only. Compressed formats such as DTS digital, Dolby digital, DTS-HD and Dolby are decoded. Automatic switching jumps to the next live input when the current one is disconnected.

The aluminium enclosure measures 5.91 × 2.36 × .79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces. It draws power from the included USB cable without a separate adapter. No fan is fitted so operation is silent. The low power draw keeps the case only slightly warm during extended 4K@60Hz use.
