Five layout modes — quad, horizontal stack, vertical stack, picture-in-picture and full-screen — run continuously without the 5–8 second handshake delay seen on basic switches. In full-screen mode the unit switches sources seamlessly, while scaler logic keeps 720p, 1080p and 4K signals stable during extended sessions.

HDMI 1.4 Bandwidth Ceiling

Both inputs and output use HDMI 1.4, capping the link at 4K@30Hz and 4096 × 2160 resolution with HDCP 1.4 compliance. Higher refresh rates, HDR metadata or 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 cannot pass this interface, so sources must be configured to 30 Hz or 1080p@60Hz for reliable operation.
