The device operates in two modes: 2-in-1-out for sharing one device across two hosts, and 1-in-2-out for toggling between two devices on a single host.

Build quality and daily connectivity

The compact black enclosure measures 5.2 x 4.61 x 1.22 inches and weighs 4.66 ounces, making it easy to place on a desk without crowding other equipment. Two USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-A cables, each 3.9 feet long, are included for immediate connection to host computers. A single push button on the top panel toggles the active channel, while a blue LED indicates which port is currently selected and shows data transfer activity. No external power adapter or driver installation is required.
