At full 240 W (48 V / 5 A) the cable delivers the maximum power the connected device negotiates through PD 3.1, PD 3.0 PPS, QC 4.0 and other supported profiles. The 40 Gbps bandwidth is maintained for Gen 3 links; Gen 2 links operate at up to 20 Gbps. Actual throughput always depends on the host and peripheral capabilities.

Thunderbolt 3 compatibility
