This Jansicotek converter transforms analogue composite video and audio from legacy sources into a digital HDMI 1080P 60Hz signal. It targets owners of classic consoles such as PS2, PS3, Xbox or N64, plus VHS, VCR, DVD and set-top boxes that only offer yellow, red and white RCA outputs. The integrated cable assembly removes the need for separate leads and the device draws power from a USB connection, so no driver installation is required.

Capacity and headroom 1080P 60Hz output

The adapter accepts PAL, NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N composite standards and scales them to a fixed 1080P 60Hz HDMI output, with 720P also supported. It handles standard-definition sources comfortably but cannot process higher-resolution or progressive-scan inputs such as component, S-Video or digital signals. The built-in scaler provides a single output mode; there is no pass-through or upscaling beyond 1080P.

Thermals noise and power draw

The converter operates without a fan, so it produces no audible noise during use. Power is supplied through the integrated 17 inch USB cable, drawing minimal current from any standard USB port or charger.
