Splits one Ethernet line into two 100 Mbps connections using a USB-powered adapter with gold-plated RJ45 ports and a 0.75 m cable
This adapter divides one Ethernet connection into two RJ45 female ports using a USB power cable. It suits home or office users who need two devices online from a single wall jack without running extra cabling. The gold-plated pins and oxygen-free copper contacts resist corrosion for a reliable link.
Each of the two output ports delivers up to 100Mbps while the combined input handles up to 1000Mbps. Signal paths remain isolated so traffic on one port does not degrade the other during continuous use. The USB power lead ensures stable operation when both connected devices are active simultaneously.
Connect the incoming network cable to the single RJ45 port, attach two outgoing cables to the dual ports, and plug the USB lead into any powered USB socket. No drivers or configuration are required. The splitter works with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat7 cables. It cannot increase total bandwidth beyond the source link, so gigabit speeds are not available on the individual outputs.

The splitter is a passive device that only needs the 0.75 m USB cable for power; it has no fan or active circuitry, so heat and power draw are negligible.
You need one incoming Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cable plus two outgoing Ethernet cables, and a free USB-A port to supply the 0.75 m power lead.
Cat5e supports up to 1 Gbps, so it will not restrict the 100 Mbps throughput each of the two output ports delivers.
