Dual-PC Triple-Monitor Control

The Jansicotek SW232-2DP1HD lets two desktops or laptops share one keyboard, one mouse and three displays. Each computer must provide two DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI output to use all three screens. The switch handles extended and duplicate modes so each monitor can show a different image or all three can mirror the same source. Plug-and-play operation works with Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Unix without extra drivers.

Passive Cooling Zero Noise

The aluminium enclosure dissipates heat without fans so the unit runs silently on a desk. A supplied 12 V 1 A power adapter keeps the switch stable when high-draw USB peripherals are attached. Power consumption stays low during normal switching because no active cooling or complex processing is required. LED indicators show the active computer at a glance without adding audible distraction.

Four USB 3.0 Ports Expand Connectivity

The box includes two USB 3.0 cables, a wired push-button remote and the power adapter so the KVM is ready to use immediately. Four downstream USB 3.0 ports let keyboards, mice, printers, scanners or external drives stay connected while you swap between computers. The remote button duplicates the front-panel switch for convenient placement under a monitor or on a keyboard tray. A printed manual covers the extended and duplicate display setup steps.

Questions about this item

How do I connect two computers to the three monitors using the DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports?

Connect each computer to the two DisplayPort and one HDMI input ports, then attach three monitors to the corresponding outputs; use the wired button or front push buttons to switch control between the two systems.

What maintenance will the 12V/1A power adapter need over time?

The external 12V/1A adapter powers the switch and four USB 3.0 ports; if the unit becomes unstable under load, replace the adapter with an equivalent 12V/1A unit.

At what point does the 8K@60Hz signal degrade during long sessions?

The switch supports 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz through DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.1; sustained use is limited by cable quality and source compliance, so use certified 8K cables to avoid dropouts.
