The Jansicotek SW242-2HD lets you operate four computers from one keyboard, one mouse and two HDMI monitors. It is built for home offices, small-business desks or streaming setups that need to keep two displays active while toggling between multiple hosts. Each host must provide two HDMI outputs and each monitor one HDMI input. The unit ships with all required cables and a 12 V 1 A power adapter.

4-Computer Upgrade From Single-Screen KVM

If you currently use a single-monitor switch and want a second display without adding another box, this 4-in 2-out design replaces that hardware in one step. The jump is worth it when your workflow spans two screens — code beside docs, timeline above preview — and you need to move the whole desktop across four machines at once. Switching takes roughly three seconds per auto-scan interval or can be triggered instantly from the front panel or the supplied IR remote. Hot-key switching is not supported.

Check Host Ports And Monitor Inputs

Verify that every computer you plan to connect has two HDMI 2.0 ports capable of 4K at 60 Hz and that both monitors accept HDMI 2.0 at the same rate. The switch provides four USB 3.0 hub ports for shared peripherals such as drives or scanners, but it does not supply video conversion for DisplayPort or USB-C sources. Ensure the IR receiver cable can reach a clear line of sight if you intend to use the remote.
