A 100 ft fibre-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable carrying 32.4 Gbps for 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz and 2K 240 Hz with VESA certification
Cable Length 100 Feet
This 100ft Jansicotek TJ-A013 cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals over four-core optical fibre with 24K gold-plated male connectors. It is VESA certified for 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and supports 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz. The directional design marks source and display ends for correct installation. It suits VR headsets such as Valve Index, Oculus Rift S, HTC Vive and HP Reverb as well as high-resolution monitors and projectors.
Optical fibre transmission eliminates electrical resistance heating, so the cable runs without fans, pumps or external power. The zinc-alloy shell with piano paint finish resists cracking while the single Al-Mylar foil shield blocks electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts reduce insertion loss and oxidation over repeated mating cycles. No driver or firmware is required; the link is transparent to the host GPU and display.
The cable must be connected with the Source plug to the GPU or laptop and the Display plug to the monitor, TV or projector. At 100ft it bridges rooms or rack distances that copper cables cannot cover without signal degradation. Backwards compatibility with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 allows use with older sources while retaining the fibre link. It frees the workstation from sitting next to the display and enables clean routing through conduit or trunking.

Other versions of this model
The connector marked "Source" goes to the PC or graphics card; the connector marked "Display" goes to the monitor, TV or projector. Reversing them will give no signal because the optical engine only works in one direction.
The gold-plated DisplayPort plugs can wear from repeated insertion, and the zinc-alloy shells may crack if bent sharply at the connector. The optical fibre itself does not degrade under normal use.
The cable is rated for the full 32.4 Gbps at the entire 100ft length, so the bandwidth ceiling is reached by the DisplayPort 1.4 specification itself, not by the fibre distance.
