A bi-directional Mini DisplayPort 1.4 to DisplayPort 1.4 cable supporting 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth
This Jansicotek TJ-A091 cable links a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 source to a full-size DisplayPort 1.4 display. It serves laptop and desktop users who need an 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz connection for workstations, home theatre or gaming setups. The bi-directional design also works from a standard DisplayPort output to a Mini DisplayPort monitor. Gold-plated connectors and a braided jacket aim to survive repeated plugging.
Rated bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps carries 8K 7680x4320 at 60 Hz with 10-bit RGB 4:4:4 and DSC, plus 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at up to 165 Hz. The copper conductors maintain signal integrity over the 6.6 ft run without the dropouts seen on thinner cables at maximum resolution. HDR and 3D pass through unchanged, so colour depth stays consistent during long render or playback sessions.
Male-to-male terminals plug directly into Mini DP and DP ports; no separate adapter is required for the listed configurations. The aluminium shells fit tightly, so align the connector before pressing to avoid bent pins. Some laptops only enable the alternate mode on specific USB-C ports — check the manual if no signal appears. The package includes a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter for legacy ports.

Other versions of this model
The passive copper construction with gold-plated connectors carries 32.4 Gbps without active components, so it runs at room temperature even during continuous 8K@60Hz sessions.
Yes, the male Mini DP 1.4 plug connects directly to your laptop and the male full-size DP 1.4 plug goes straight to the monitor, so no separate adapter is required.
The cable is backward compatible and supports 2560x1440 at 144 Hz, 165 Hz and lower refresh rates, so your existing monitor will work without changes.
