Bi-directional USB-C video switch

This Jansicotek switch connects two USB-C sources to one display or one source to two displays in a 2-in-1-out or 1-in-2-out configuration. It handles video, data and power delivery simultaneously for compatible laptops, tablets and monitors. The unit requires all connected ports to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video transmission. It is not suited for users who need simultaneous output on two screens.

Fits a dual-computer or dual-monitor desk

The device sits between your computers and a single USB-C monitor, or between one computer and two monitors, letting you toggle the active link with a button. It passes up to 100W of power delivery so a connected laptop can charge while driving the display. A 10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 data path is available for peripherals or storage. It does not replace a full docking station with legacy ports or multi-monitor simultaneous output.

Sustained 8K@30Hz and 4K@120Hz throughput

The switch maintains 8K at 30Hz, 4K at 120Hz and 1440p at up to 165Hz over extended sessions, provided cables and host hardware meet the DisplayPort 1.4 and USB 3.1 specifications. Total cable length across both ends should stay within three metres to avoid signal degradation. The 10Gbps data lane and 100W power delivery remain stable during long work periods. It cannot drive two displays at the same time.
