Converts analog VGA and 3.5 mm audio to digital HDMI at up to 1920 x 1080 60 Hz, USB-powered for broad device compatibility
The Jansicotek adapter converts an analogue VGA signal plus a 3.5 mm audio feed into a single digital HDMI stream. It is aimed at users who need to connect legacy desktops, laptops or TV boxes to modern monitors, projectors or HDTVs. The white enclosure weighs 40 g and draws power from an included USB cable.
Installation is plug-and-play with no driver required; simply attach VGA, 3.5 mm audio and USB power, then select 720p or 1080p via the built-in switch. The most frequent problem is a blank screen when the USB power lead is omitted or connected to an under-powered port. Another issue occurs if the source outputs a resolution outside the supported 640x480 through 1920x1080 at 60 Hz list.
The converter handles continuous 1080p 60 Hz transmission at 6.75 G bps total bandwidth with 12-bit per channel colour depth. Because it is actively powered, signal integrity remains stable during long sessions such as extended presentations or digital-signage loops. Units without external power often degrade or drop the link under the same sustained load.

The device is plug-and-play; once the USB power cable is connected and the output switch is set to 720p or 1080p, the HDMI display should show the source image at one of the supported resolutions such as 1920x1080 at 60Hz with audio embedded in the HDMI signal.
The box includes the converter unit, a USB power cable and a 3.5 mm audio cable; you must supply your own VGA cable to connect the source and an HDMI cable to connect the display.
Set the switch to 1080p; the converter accepts VGA inputs from 640x480 up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz and will output a matching 1080p HDMI signal for your monitor.
