Converts analogue VGA and 3.5 mm audio to digital HDMI up to 1080p at 60 Hz with USB power
This Jansicotek adapter converts analog VGA signals into digital HDMI output while embedding 3.5 mm audio into the same stream. USB power broadens compatibility with notebooks, desktops and legacy media boxes that lack a powered HDMI port. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation.
Supported input resolutions at 60 Hz range from 640x480 through 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720, 1600x1200 up to 1920x1080 pixels. A selector switch chooses between 720p and 1080p output modes. The 6.75 Gbps bandwidth ceiling means higher refresh rates or resolutions above 1080p are not supported.
The lightweight white housing carries VGA, 3.5 mm audio and USB power inputs on one side and a single HDMI output on the other. Integrated audio embedding delivers uncompressed two-channel LPCM over HDMI. Buyers needing DisplayPort output, 4K scaling or pass-through of copy-protected content without HDCP conversion should look elsewhere.

Yes, the converter accepts VGA input resolutions from 640x480 up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz, including 1024x768, so your laptop's signal will be converted to HDMI for a larger display.
Use the resolution switch on the device to select 1080p, then check your TV or monitor's on-screen information menu — it should report a 1920x1080 signal at 60Hz coming from the HDMI input.
The converter has a built-in USB power port and 3.5mm audio input; a USB power cable is required for operation and a 3.5mm audio cable is needed if you want audio through HDMI — neither cable is listed as included.
