Product identity

The Jaspertronics DP2K-20Cx-LAMP is a 2000W Xenon L Series short-arc projector lamp rated for 3200 operating hours. It is built for Barco digital cinema projectors that require this specific electrical load and optical geometry.

Installation and pitfalls

The lamp measures 294 mm in total length with a 27 mm lamp diameter and 55 mm bulb diameter, so the lamp house must accommodate those dimensions. Connection uses an M12×1.75 pin specification with 14 mm pin length and a 132 mm cable. A 123 mm light center length and 4.5 mm cold arc gap mean alignment must be precise or focus will drift.

Deciding specification

The lamp operates at 2000W input power, 25V and 80A with an operating range of 14002000W; if the projector’s power supply cannot deliver that exact voltage and current envelope the lamp will not strike or will age prematurely.
